MICHAEL C. WALSH

Of Amherst, NY,  passed away on December 23, 2022 at his home.  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on May 14, 1950, a son  of the late Charles J. and Anne L (Hennessey) Walsh, Sr.

Michael was a graduate of Lewiston Porter Central School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, as well as a Master of Arts degree from Niagara University.   He was a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.  He was a member of the New York Bar and was a practicing attorney for many years.

Michael was the husband of 39 years,  to the late Jacqueline (nee Mullane) Walsh, who passed away in January of 2016.

He is survived by two brothers, Charles J.  Walsh, Jr., and John P. (Eileen) Walsh, two sisters, Mary Jane (Joseph) Flores and Susan M. (Larry) Bretsch, also by many nieces and nephews, as well as members of his late spouse’s family.

His family will be present on  Friday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, NY.

Everyone is invited to his Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY.

Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
