N. Daune Quast

Of North Tonawanda, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025.  She was born in Shawville, Quebec, on May 13, 1933, a daughter of the late Henry and Mary [Corrigan] Hodgins.

Mrs. Quast moved to North Tonawanda in 1953.

She was a payroll clerk with Wurlitzer and then Carborundum (Washington Mills) for many years.

Mrs. Quast was an active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ.

She was the wife of  68 years to the late Melvin L. Quast, who died in August of 2024.

Mrs. Quast is survived by her sons Rick (Nancy) and Randy (Deb) Quast, three grandchildren Jon (Jen) Quast, Becky (Brian) Vail and Haley Quast, ten great grandchildren,  also many nieces and nephews.

Her family will be present on Friday, October 17, 2025  from 4:30-7:30  PM at The RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY,  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025  at  11:00 AM at St. Paul's United Church of Christ - Shawnee, 3921 Mapleton Road, North Tonawanda, NY, with the Rev. Ronald Lord officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to St. Paul's UCC.

Interment in  Wheatfield Cemetery.
