Nancy P. Nichols

Of Lewiston  NY,  departed this life on Saturday August 6, 2022, in Mt.  St. Mary’s Hospital, Lewiston, NY.   She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on February 24, 1939, a  daughter of the late Nunzio and Josephine [Previte] Pinizotti.  

She attended local schools, graduating from Niagara Falls High School and the University at Buffalo, majoring in English. 

She was employed at Hooker Chemical and then the Carborundum Company.   Nancy as a single mother in the 70's, independently raised 3 boys.  

Nancy enjoyed her retirement by volunteering within the community and caring for seniors.  She was a passionate supporter of Life,  volunteering for Summit Life Out Reach Center,  St. Mary’s Hospital and Meals on Wheels in Lewiston. 

She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and was a member of the Niagara Falls Frontier Bible Church.  She enjoyed the beach with family and spending time with her beloved late sister, Janice Previte.  

She is survived by her three sons, Robert (Regina) Nichols, Norman Nichols and Aaron (Sarah) Nichols, five grandchildren, Brittany (Erick) Cramer, Alexis Nichols,  Justin Nichols, Julianna Damon-Martin, Anthony Nichols, two great-grandchildren Emma and Benjamin and was the aunt of  Frank,  Leonard (Joelle),  Joseph (Michelle), Pamela Previte, Thomas and James Pinizotti, also many grand nieces and nephews.  

Her family will be present on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at  10:00 AM at Niagara Frontier Bible Church, 5287 Bronson Drive, Lewiston, NY.

Flowers are graciously declined.   Memorials may be made in her name to the Niagara Frontier Bible Church.

Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
