Nancy A. Palmieri

Of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Niagara Hospice House.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on October 22, 1934, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Olive (Bond) Pharo.

Mrs. Palmieri graduated from Niagara Falls High School and attended Niagara County Community College and Niagara University.

She started working at Fort Niagara in 1952 and then went to become the Chief of Supply with the 914th at Niagara Falls Air Base for 31 years before retiring in 1989.

Mrs. Palmieri was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church and with the Altar and Rosary Society.

She enjoyed playing golf and bowling.

Mrs. Palmieri is survived by her husband of 71 years Peter C. Palmieri, her daughter Wendy (John) Farino, daughter-in-law Linda Palmieri, three grandchildren Amy (James) Bos, Jennifer (Kevin) Dexheimer and Heather (James) Kreuzer, four great grandchildren Leah and Emily Bos, Zoey and Ellie Dexheimer, also several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Keith Palmieri.

Her family will be present on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.  Everyone is invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Town Line Road, Ransomville, NY.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice or to the Altar and Rosary Society of Immaculate Conception Church.

Interment in Wheatfield Cemetery.
