Nancy Jo Doll Obituary
Nancy Jo Doll of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Cheektowaga, NY. A member of the Bear Clan, she was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on December 7, 1951, the daughter of the late James and Eunice [Maracle] Hill.
She was a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield and Niagara County Community College and had attended
Niagara University.
Nancy Jo was employed with the Niagara Wheatfield School District and HSBC over the years.
She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed gardening , photography and doing crafts and
the occasional visit to the Casino.
She was a faithful servant to the Lord, loving, gracious, selfless, supporting, encouraging, absolutely
gorgeous, always up for and adventure, a true fighter. She handled life's challenges with perseverance,
dignity, strength and grace.
Nancy Jo is survived by her husband Robert W. Doll, her children Robert (Susan) Burnham,
Susan (David) Fauzey and Janelle (Joel) Rohring, two brothers James and Randolph Hill,
three sisters Mary (late Joseph) Woodbury, Elizabeth Williams and Melissa (James) Mercendetti,
a sister in law Loraine Anderson, also 13 grandchildren, one great grandson, many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late William Anderson.
Her family will be present on Friday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME,
5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Tuscarora Baptist Church,
2208 Mt. Hope Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Walter A. Printup officiating.
Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, on the Tuscarora Nation.
