Norman Williamson Obituary

Norm was granted his angel wings March 2,2021.  He was so very special and will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.  Norm was born in Niagara Falls, NY on October 22, 1943, a son of the late Reginald H. and Maude M. [McCrory] Williamson.

He had a long distinguished career of 50 plus years as a Civil Engineer with Armand Cerrone, Inc. and was an integral part of the Cerrone family.

Norm was a life long resident of Lewiston and loved the area and it's people.

Norm enjoyed family life with his children growing up and was very involved as their soccer coach and as a spectator with the Niagara Pioneer Soccer Leagues and at Lew Port soccer.   Being a lifelong skier, Norm chaperoned many ski trips at Lew Port.

He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and attended all 4 Super Bowls.  He also enjoyed playing golf and Bocce.

Norm was always there to assist his wife Dale during the Lewiston Art Festival, Lewiston Garden Club and the Memorial Day Parade.  They also enjoyed traveling, especially to New Orleans, the Islands and the United States. They took yearly wine trips to Seneca Lake.

Overall,  Norm was a beautiful person and don't look at him as being gone, but think of him as being ahead of us and we all will meet up once again.

Norm is survived by his wife Dale D. [Graham]  Williamson, his children Lori (Rick) Dotson, Douglas Williamson, Cindy (William) Esch, Brian Williamson, Sandra Hammell, Sharon (Ken) Williams and Shari Mastropierro, grandchildren Kaitlyn and Cory Dotson, Matthew, Sarah, Nathan and Sophie Williamson, Lindsay, Mitchell and Taylor Williams, and brother of Halys (Karl) Ruppersburger, Dorothy  and Gerald (Linda) Williamson, also many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Warren (Joanne)  and William (Lucy) Williamson, Naomi (Murle) Collins and Gordon (Lois) Williamson.

The family would like to extend a special Thank you to the entire staff at Niagara Hospice for their compassionate and phenomenal care of Norm.

Private Funeral services were held at the wishes of his family.

Memorials may be made in Norms name to Niagara Hospice, Roswell Park Alliance Foundation or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
