Of the Tuscaroa Nation, Beaver Clan passed away unexpectedly on April 13, 2022.
He was born in Lewiston, NY on September 14, 1998, to Elden M. “Bubs” and Patricia [Jacobs] Fischer.
Osias attended the Tuscarora School and graduated from Niagara Wheatfiield High School in 2016.
He joined the US Marine Corp in 2016 and served in Japan, Australia and South Korea, ending his time in North Carolina with an honorable discharge.
He was currently an active US Air Force Reservist.
Osias was a NCCC student studying Business Management and was recently accepted into the Ironworkers Local #9 apprenticeship program.
His hobbies were many: lacrosse, golfing, disc golf, fishing, hunting, trap shooting and aquascapes.
He was an artist and enjoyed drawing.
Just as his grandfather, he had a special passion for farming and animals.
Osias enjoyed anytime spent with his family and his many cousins and friends.
He will be greatly missed and remembered for his gentle soul, always with a smile and a heart of gold.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Angus (Lanie Clause) Fischer, a sister Katie (Buster Isennock) Fischer, his grandmother Patricia Wegerski and his girlfriend Wendy Sanchez, also many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was the grandson of the late Elden and Patricia Fischer and Milton Jacobs.
All are welcome to come and pay their respects any time at the family home, 1877 Mt. Hope Road. Come as you are.
Longhouse services will be on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Tuscarora Longhouse 1948 Mt. Hope Road.
