Patricia  A. Edwards

Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at her home under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on September 3, 1934, a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Ellen [Hayes] Buckley.

Mrs. Edwards attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was a Town of Niagara Court Clerk up until retirement  at the age of 81. Mrs. Edwards was a member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.

She was the wife of the late  Lawrence J. Edwards, who passed away in October of 2005. Mrs. Edwards is survived by her children Lawrence J. (Christine) Edwards, Sean A. (Kathleen) Edwards, Timothy P. [ Amy ] Edwards, Bridget E (John) Accardo, and  Ellen (Alfred) Gaeta, a daughter-in-law Lucy Julian Edwards, grandchildren Ryan (Laura), Michael (Michelle), Katherine, Matthew (Dylan Leman) Edwards , Emily (Erich) Silvestro, Patricia (Max) Kaplan and Daniel (Kaori)  Gaeta, a sister Rita Flahive, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late  Matthew D. Edwards, sister of the late Daniel (Patricia), Thomas (Betty), James (Noreen) and John (Mary)  Buckley, Mary Louise (Donal) Gallagher and  Margaret (James) Nichols.  

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caretaker Sharon Montgomery and Tiffany from Niagara Hospice.

Her family will be present  on   Sunday, April 13th from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:15 AM followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph Parish, St. Joseph's Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with the Rev. Stewart M. Lindsay, OSFS officiating.

 
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice.

Interment in Mount View Cemetery, Pekin, NY.
