Paula I. Mielke

Of Fredonia, NY,  passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  She was born in  Niagara Falls, NY,  on September 3, 1957, a daughter of the late  Allan and Doris [Woodcock]  Mielke.

Paula was a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School, Niagara County Community College and received her Bachelors and Masters  Degrees from Fredonia State.  She was a speech language teacher with the Fredonia Central School from 1981 until her retirement in 2013.

Paula was baptized on September 15, 2019 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.  Her study of the Bible convinced her of the love that our Creator has for each and every one of us.  It gave her the resurrection hope of enjoying life forever on an earth returned to paradise.

She is survived by her siblings Timothy Mielke, Stephen (Roselyn) Mielke, Dorothy Mielke, Dennis (Susan) Mielke, Kevin (Cynthia) Mielke, sister in law Mary (deRedon) Mielke and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 970 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY  14048.

Memorials may be made in her name to the humane society of your choice.

Interment in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.
