Pauline Scarfone Obituary


Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in the Schoellkopf Health Center.  She was born in Stratford, Ontario, on January 11, 1926, a daughter of the late Paul and Christina [Clement] DiBattista.

Mrs. Scarfone moved to Niagara Falls, NY, after being married in 1948.

She was a waitress at Fortuna's Restaurant for over 50 years.

Mrs. Scarfone enjoyed spending time with family and was a member of the Red Hatters.

She was the wife of the late Frank J. Scarfone, Sr., who passed away in July of 1999.

Mrs. Scarfone is survived by her children Frank (Sharon Nablo) Scarfone and Kathleen Scarfone, three grandchildren Nicholas, Matthew (Lindsey) and Andrew (Kelly), three great grandchildren;  Anthony, Jonathan and River, a sister Sadie Haywood, a sister-in-law Ann DiBattista, also many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Alex DiBattista, Rose Julian, Catherine Oldand, June Alsop, Connie Jonah and Elizabeth Pasco.

Her family will be present on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent dePaul Parish, Prince of Peace Site, 1055 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY.

Entombment in St. Joseph' Cemetery.
