PHILIP J. CURIONE
Of Pekin, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in Niagara Hospice House, with all of his children by his side. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 15, 1948, a son of the late Peter and Evelyn[Ayers] Curione.
Mr. Curione was a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School and served with the Army National Guard.
He was a truck driver with his family business, Curione Trucking.
Mr. Curione enjoyed riding his Harley, NASCAR and playing golf.
He is survived by his children Craig, (Jill), Philip (Tami) and Kevin (Sondra) Curione, Krista (Shawn) Kelly and Leah (Tim) Wrate, siblings Peter (Claire), Charles (Kathy), Patrick (Cindy) Curione and Louise (Mike) Kent, a brother in law Donald Kantner, also twelve grandchildren, Juliana and Tyler Curione, Austin and Hannah Bowden, Luca, Emma, Lily, Sadie Curione, Madison and Sloan Kelly, Claudia and Bo Wrate, many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Curione was the brother of the late Jo Ann Kantner.
His family will be present on Saturday from 10-12:00 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice.
Interment with Military Honors in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria.
