PRISCILLA J. CURTIS
Of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, under the loving care of her daughter. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on April 1, 1938, the daughter of the late James and Hilda [Welsh] George.
Mrs. Curtis attended Pacific Avenue School, LaSalle Junior and graduated from LaSalle Senior High School in 1956.
She was a secretary with E I Dupont for several years.
Mrs. Curtis was an active member the First Assembly of God Church, now known as The Bridge Assembly of God Church. She was in the Sunday School department with the primary and junior children, a junior superintendent of the children department and leader of the children's choir. She was also the church organist for many years.
Mrs. Curtis enjoyed camping, visiting all of the Federal and State Parks, even in Alaska and wintering in Florida for over 30 years.
She was married to Leslie L. Curtis on November 25, 1967, they were married for 55 years, until his passing in July of this year.
Mrs. Curtis is survived by her children Vance (Dee) Curtis and Valerie (late Michael) Occhipinti-Gurnett, two grandsons Michael and Marcus Occhipinti, two nephews Rev. Scott (Tammi) and Kris (Kristen) George, her dear friend Barbara (Dale) Lehman, also many great nieces, nephews and close friends from church.
Her family will be present on Thursday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, NY.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at The Bridge Assembly of God Church, 9750 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls, NY.
Flowers are gratefully declined, memorials may be made in her name to The Bridge Assembly of God Church.
Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery.
