Of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025 in Buffalo General Medical Center.
Robert Kalenik was born in Buffalo, NY on November 28, 1950, a son of the late Aloysius and Genevieve [Chwojdak] Kalenik.
Mr. Kalenik was a graduate of Bishop Timon High School & Niagara County Community College and received certificates from Niagara University & the UB School of Management.
He was a Transportation & Logistics Manager for various companies in the area, including Graphic Controls, Silipos, Bernzomatic, and JR Products, and he also worked as an Off-Ice Official for the National Hockey League for over 40 years where he was the Scoring System Manager supporting the Buffalo Sabres.
Bob was a long-standing member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3875 in South Buffalo.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years Pauline F. [Rundle] Kalenik, a brother Thomas (Pauline) Kalenik, his children Kevin (Darlene) Kalenik, Robert (Megen) Kalenik, Mary Beth (Steve) Kull, Tanya Lyn Little, Guy Robert (Janelle) Little, eight grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and his beloved family pet, Phryne.
