Rodger A. Cimini
Of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on August 1, 1942, a son of the late Roger and Ann [Worek] Cimini.
Mr. Cimini was in the first graduating class of Niagara Wheatfield in 1961.
He served with the US Army during the Vietnam War as military police.
After returning from the service, he began working at Harrison Radiator in Lockport until retiring in 1997.
He was an active member of Community Bible Church, an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Viola M. [Kopacz] Cimini, two daughters Susan (Michael) Paolini and Carrie (Brian) Mills, five grandchildren Kayla (Jacob) Crawford, Ryan (Elizabeth) Paolini, Donovan, Isaiah, Hadley Mills, a brother Robert (Norma) Cimini, a sister Cheryl Cimini, also many nieces and nephews.
His family will be present on Wednesday from 2-5 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM, with the Rev. Brad Delp officiating followed by military honors.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice.
