Ronald A. Dobrasz of Lewiston, NY, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019, at his residence. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on April 23, 1941, the son of the late Casimir and Emily [Sobola] Dobrasz.
Ron graduated from the New York School of Photography. He was a Building & Housing Inspector for the City of Niagara Falls for over 20 years, before retiring in 2005. Ron was also a well known professional photographer in the area. He was a member of the Lewiston Moose Lodge. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family, playing poker, fishing and gardening and was an avid Bills, Yankee and Duke Basketball fan.
Ron is survived by his wife of 32 years Annette M. [Dolata], a son William R. Dobrasz, a brother Daniel (Mary May) Dobrasz, two brothers in law Raymond (late Diane) Dolata and Thomas (Mary) Dolata. He was the uncle of Dawn Renee (Kevin) Stanisz, Daniel (Lisa) Dobrasz, Deborah Joy (Scott) Border and Cynthia Anne Dolata, also many grand nieces and nephews. He was the brother in law of the late Donna Jean Dobrasz, Sr. Mary Peter Dolata, CSSF and Richard (Mary) Dolata.
His family will be present on Saturday, November 9, 2019, from 8:30-9:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road, Ransomville, NY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM, with Rev. James R. Bastian officiating.
