Rose Congelosi Obituary
Rose R. Congelosi of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, under the care of her family and Hospice Buffalo. She was born in Buffalo, NY, on January 6, 1930 , the daughter of the late Mary [Rogowicz] Palame.
Mrs. Congelosi had lived in Buffalo before moving to Niagara Falls in 1973. She was a secretary
for Royal Bedding for many years. Mrs. Congelosi loved spending time with her family, especially
her grandchildren and enjoyed reading and animals.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Congelosi and Edwin Jennings.
Mrs. Congelosi is survived by her daughters Cheryl (John, Sr.) Maurer and Bonnie (Edward, III) Weiser,
four grandchildren Tiffany Reynolds, John Maurer, Jr., Edward Weiser, IIII and Ashley (Dan) Moss,
two great grandchildren Preston and Mia, a brother Al (Lilly) Nappo, a sister Arlene Kalstek, also
many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Tony Nappo, Emily Palladini and Delores
England.
Friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 1:00 PM at St. Peter's Church,
620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY, with the Rev. Cole Webster officiating.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road,
Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
