Rosemary Siegmann

Of the Town of Wheatfield, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in Erie County Medical Center.  She was born in Buffalo, NY on July 12, 1933, a daughter of the late Russell and Mary [Smith]  Hefferon.

Mrs. Siegmann moved to Wheatfield as a teenager and was a graduate of North Tonawanda High School.

She was an active member of both the St. John Lutheran Church, where she was a lunch lady and with the St. Johnsburgh Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she was the main cook for over 20 years.

Mrs. Siegmann loved spending time with her family.

She was the wife of 47 years to the late Donald P. Siegmann, who passed away in 2005.

Mrs. Siegmann is survived by her children;  Douglas (Theresa), Thomas (Susan), Rodney (Dawn) Siegmann and Brenda (Zach) Siegmann-Chavers, seven grandchildren Matthew, Valerie, Christopher, Joshua (Ashley), Justin (Jamie), Bryce (Danielle) and Peyton, four great grandchildren, siblings Shirley Crites, Helen Barnes Pierce and David ( Cheryl) Hefferon, also many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Betty Verrall, Dorothy Getty, George, Russell, Robert, Richard and Jack Hefferon, Patricia Doak and Marjorie Morgan.

Her family will be present on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.

Everyone is invited to attend her funeral services which will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM, at St. John Lutheran Church, 6950 Ward Road, Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in her name to the St. John Lutheran Church or to St. Johnsburg Volunteer Fire Company.

Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield, NY
