SANDRA W. GALLAGHER

Of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023,  at the Schoellkopf Health Center.  She was born in Lockport, NY, on August 31, 1940, a daughter of the late Roy and Grace [Locke] Weir.

She graduated from Lockport Senior High School.

Mrs. Gallagher was a sales clerk with DiCamillos Bakery for 35 years.  She enjoyed reading, traveling and rooting for the Buffalo Bills, especially Josh Allen.

She was the wife of 52 years to the late Michael F. Gallagher, Sr.,  who passed away in January of 2018.

Mrs. Gallagher is survived by two sons Daniel J. (Dorothy) and David W. (Tonyetta) Gallagher,  eleven grandchildren Michael, Breanna, Kaylyne, Daniel, Brendan, Savannah, Jesse, Julian, Mikala, Colin and Shane,   great-grandchildren Michael, Ansley and Vivienne, Bryson, David and Grace, a sister Barbara Weir, also many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Michael F. Jr. and Terrence P. Gallagher, and sister of the late Douglas Weir.

Her family will be present on Thursday, from 3-7PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY in honor of both Sandra and her son Terrence, who passed away in 2020 during the covid epidemic.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9:30 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Dementia Society of America.

Entombment in  Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
