SHANE K. E. DONNER, DVM

Of Ransomville, NY passed away unexpectedly at home on June 17, 2025. He was born on June 1, 1974 in Hamilton, Ontario, son of Dieter and Sharyn (Kaufman) Donner.

Shane was a Veterinarian in Lockport, NY, where he owned and operated Lake Avenue Veterinary Clinic. He began as an associate veterinarian at the practice in 2011, before becoming the practice owner in 2017 at Lake Avenue Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Donner graduated with his DVM from Ontario Veterinary College in 2005, following achieving a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Guelph, Ontario in 2001. 

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife Joanne [Berry] Donner, daughter Megan Donner,  son Hudson Donner,  brother Adrian (Angela) Donner, nieces Isabelle, Lily and Violet. He is also survived by his extended family at Lake Avenue Clinic, including the staff, clients and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be announced.
