Sharon L. Tervo of the Town of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. She was born in Lockport, NY, on January 5, 1945, the daughter of the late Edwin and Mabel [Willover] Pfahlert.
Sharon graduated from Trott Vocational High School in 1962, with her cosmetology degree. She was a hairdresser and a key punch operator before becoming a school bus driver with Niagara Wheatfield School District for over 12 years before retiring.
Sharon loved spending time with her family and enjoyed crocheting, gardening, traveling and baking.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Erik M. Tervo, two sons Brian (Danielle) Tervo and Edward Utnik, four grandchildren Lindsay Utnik, Mark Anthony Elizondo, Isabella Tervo and Chelsea Utnik, two great grandchildren Shyla King and Jaidyn Swisher, a sister Gloria (late Edward) Nemetz, also many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was the mother of the late Cynthia Utnik.
Her family will be present on Friday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM, with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.
Memorials may be made in her name to the American Lung Association, 2564 Walden Ave, Buffalo, NY 14225.
Interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Pekin.
