Shirley Rich-Peterson Obituary
Of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on July 24, 2019. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 12, 1957, the daughter of the late James E. and Joeretha (Rich) Elder.
Shirley owned and operated New Hope Publishing and Tutoring for many years. She enjoyed helping people, gardening, cooking, traveling and was an avid reader.
Shirley is survived by her children Tameka Peterson, Sade Burgess, Delanyee Peterson and Clint Newman, five grandchildren, brothers Steven (Diane) Elder and Joseph (Michelle) Elder, sisters Darlene Rich-Humphrey and Doreen (Lee) Rich-Madkin and several nieces and nephews, best friends EJ Booze-Smith, Denise Williamson, Clarance C. Hathaway and Kinn Perkins. She was the mother of the late Latrice Peterson.
Visitation on Monday from 4-6 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Ave NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Visitation on Tuesday from 10-11AM at Potter's House Christian Community Church, 723 7th Street, Niagara Falls, NY, with Funeral Services following at 11:00 AM
Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton, NY.
