Susan A. Haseley

Susan A. Haseley of Sanborn, NY, passed away on  Thursday, January 7, 2021 in Sisters of Charity  Hospital, Buffalo, NY.   She was born on August 17, 1946 in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada, daughter of the late Arleigh and Phyllis [Secord] Glover.

Susan graduated from Winona High School, Fruitland, Ontario.

She was employed with the  Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in  Hamilton before moving to  Sanborn  in 1968 and had worked at Lammerts Buick and Cadillac Dealership and later as a payroll clerk at Carbon Graphite for 22 years until closure.

Susan loved  raising her dogs, Fred, Mandy, Precious, Punkin, Snowball and Patches and also enjoyed dancing.

Susan is survived by her husband of 52 years Donald D. Haseley, a sister, Phyllis (Arnie) Silverman, her adopted daughter,  Nancy (Mike) Licata, aunt of  Lisa (Evan) Lewis, Steve (Tracy) Buckner, John (Karen) Haseley,  adopted grandaughter, Courtney Licata, great aunt of Matthew (Christen) Warne and Austin (Allison) Warne, great great aunt of Mason also a  sister-in- law Martha Haseley and many great nieces, nephews and dear friends, also by two special friends in Ontario.

Her family will be present on Tuesday from 7- 8:30 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road,  Sanborn, NY,  with funeral services to follow at  8:30 PM with the Rev. Thomas G. Thorstad officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined, Memorials may be made in her name to St. Peter Lutheran Church Walmore.

A special thank you to Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care, especially Michelle and Jackie,  they were her angels to her at her time at OLP and also thank you to 3rd Floor South at Sister's Hospital.
