Suzanne P. Gorbach

Suzanne P. Gorbach of Sanborn, NY,  passed away on  Saturday, July 10, 2021.  She  was born in Niagara Falls, NY,  on July 3, 1948, the  daughter of the late Warren S. and Grace [Markle] Payne, Sr.

Suzie graduated from Madonna High School and from  St. Mary's School of Nursing.   She was a Registered Nurse at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital for over 30 years and after  her retirement she continued to  volunteer at the hospital.

Suzie loved spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late Walter K. Gorbach, who died in December of 2012.

Suzie is survived by her children Michael, Gerald  (Gina), Fritz (April) Gorbach and Deanna (Richard) Atkin, five grandchildren Cpt. Daniel Gorbach, US Army, Jacob Scouten, William, Michael and Violet Gorbach and was the sister of Warren  (Virginia), William F. (Terry), John (Joann), Tim (Jeff)  and Michael M. Payne,  Michele M. (Joseph) Agnello, Tricia A. Mezhir, Melissa (Edward) McHugh, Laurie E. (Roger) Clark  and Caroline M. (Steve) Thompson, dear friends Lucy, Danielle and Noah, also many nieces, nephews and her poodle Lizzie.

Her family will be present on Saturday from 1:00-5:00 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will follow at 5:00PM.

Memorials may be in her name to Mt. St. Mary's Hospital.
