Vivian G. Meloon

Of the Tuscarora Nation, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at her home under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice.

A member of the Turtle Clan, she was born in Lewiston, NY on February 28, 1958, the daughter of Jacqueline [Printup] Lalone and the late Melvin and Arlene [Mt. Pleasant] Rickard.

Vivian graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School.   She was employed with Wegman's, Sherwood Valve in Niagara Falls and later worked security at the Seneca Niagara Casino for over 20 years.

She enjoyed shopping, riding motorcycles and was an avid collector.

Vivian is survived by her companion Mike Andula, her children Jeremy Meloon and Melody (Frank) Meloon, two grandchildren Kia and Arriahna Rickard, brothers Joseph (Tina) and Jerry (Brigitte) Lalone and her former husband Mark Meloon,  also many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Melvin and James Rickard, Jamie and Leslie Printup.

Her family will be present on Monday from 3-6:30PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, with funeral services to follow at 6:30PM,  with Rev. Walter Printup officiating.
