WIlliam H. Parkhill, Sr.

Obituary

Of the Town of Cambria,  passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, NY.  He was  born in Niagara Falls, NY,  on August 27, 1947, the  son of the late Hugh H. and Arline E. [Becker] Parkhill.

Bill graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School and served with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
After returning from the service, he became an electrician with IBEW #237 for over 30 years. His hobbies included riding his Harley and working on vintage cars. 

Bill was dear friend of the late Claudia Herbold, who passed away in  June of 2019. He is survived by his sons William H. (Sandy) Parkhill, Jr.  and Brian Parkhill, his stepchildren Tim (Leah) Wrate, Tami (Philip) Curione and Tom Wrate, a brother Robert (Dina) Parkhill, a sister Barbara (Wesley) Herman, nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Bill was brother of the  late Bradley and Brian Parkhill. 

His family will be present on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. James R. Bastian officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the Niagara SPCA.

Interment with Military Honors in Friedens Cemetery, Town of Wheatfield, NY.
