Walter J. Kajfasz

Of  Lewiston, NY, passed away on  Thursday, September 21, 2023.  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 15, 1952, a son of the late Walter and  Emily [Mietlowski]  Kajfasz.

Mr. Kajfasz was a graduate of both Bishop Duffy and Niagara University.

He was a laboratory technician with Occidental Chemical for over 38 years before retiring in 2012.

Mr. Kajfasz enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking and running.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Pamela J. [Gabrielli] Kajfasz, his children Gregory (Lauren) Kajfasz, Jessica (Mark Brennen) Kajfasz and Janet (Steven) Rizzo, two grandchildren Gabriel and Angelo Rizzo, a brother Robert (Patricia) Kajfasz , a sister Andrea (David) McGeein, his mother-in- law of Anne (late William) Gabrielli, a brother-in-law William (Elaine) Gabrielli, also many nieces and nephews.

His family will be present on  Monday from 4-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY.  Everyone is invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY, with the Rev. Luke Uebler officiating.
