Wayde C. Patterson

Of the Tuscarora Nation, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at his home.  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 21, 1959, a son of the late George and Ruth[Herrmann] Patterson.

Wayde graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School and was a Computer Technician with the Iroquois Job Corp for many years.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren flying kites and doing magic.

Wayde is survived by his wife Jeri Lynn [Viau] Patterson, a daughter Caitlin (Josh) Dean, two grandchildren Madison and Wyatt Dean, two sisters Karin Lloyd and Marlene (late Norton) Rickard, a brother Joseph (Ann) Rickard, also many nieces, nephews and his extended family.

His family will be present on Friday from 10-11:00 AM at the Tuscarora Indian Mission,  5035 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY, with funeral services to follow at 11:00 AM, with the  Rev. Donald A. Robinson, Jr. officiating.

Inurnment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
