Wendell Bone

Wendell Bone of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital, Lewiston, NY on March 3, 2021. He was born on September 13, 1971 to the late Judge and Christine (Crenshaw) Bone.

Wendell attended the Day Program at Empower (formerly NCP) since 1990 until present, where he had many, many friends and was loved by all, he will be greatly missed.

Wendell enjoyed spending time with his brother going for rides, shopping, watching TV, eating good food and having fun. He loved God and everything that had to do with church, gospel music and praising the Lord and would often pretend he was a preacher himself. Wendell had a large collection of various sports hats.

Wendell enjoyed going bowling and various outings with his friends. He loved to be in the spot light no matter where he was and was always able to make everyone smile with his humor. Wendell was a huge fan of wrestling. His favorite wrestler was Hulk Hogan and he would always show off his wrestling poses for anyone that was looking.

Wendell is survived by his brother, Terry L. Bone, Niagara Falls, Cousin Glenda Feagin, Niagara Falls, several aunts, uncles and cousins from Niagara Falls, Alabama, Georgia and Pennsylvania as well as many friends.

Besides his parents, Wendell was pre-deceased by a special aunt – Bernice Crenshaw-Lawson.

Memorial services will be held on Friday March 12, 2021 at Rhoney Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11am – 12pm with services to follow.

Due to current regulations, facial coverings and social distancing are required by all.
