Zachary O. Antone, a lifelong resident of the Tuscarora Nation, passed away on Friday, July 30 2021.
He was a member of the Onondaga Nation, Eel clan, born on September 28,1992, the son of John and Vanessa (Swanson) Antone.
Zach graduated from Niagara Wheatfield, where he played football, lacrosse and wrestling.
He was a member of IBEW 237, and had just started working as an electrician at Smokin Joes.
Zach trained in MMA, and enjoyed attending concerts with his brother and sister, family parties, and golfing with his dad. He always carried a lacrosse stick in case someone wanted to play catch or shoot around.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Maxwell, two sisters Brooke and Deidre, his grandparents James and Valerie Swanson, also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was the grandson of the late Richard and Cynthia Antone.
His family will be present on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 PM at the Tuscarora Indian Mission, 5035 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Donald A. Robinson, Jr. officiating.
Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, on the Tuscarora Nation.
