My deepest sympathy to the family, Bernie was a wonderful man. He was our lawyer for our first home and a dear friend at the Knights of Columbus. Many fond memories of his smile and laughter. Please know the you will be held in prayer during this difficult time, but also know that I will lift a glass to his memory..

I met Bernie when I arrived from Belfast over 40 years ago

Dear Pat and Barbara,
My sincerest condolences. Bernie was always a special friend to the family and me personally. Just a great guy. He will be missed by so many. Kathy and I are leaving tomorrow morning for Florida and will not be able to attend the wake and funeral. In our thoughts and prayers. Peace.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Bernie, my friend for 56 years and my first lawyer. For decades, we regularly attended the luncheons of the First Friday Club, of which he was a director. We enjoyed his music and humor and his helpful and caring attitude. God grant rest and peace to his noble soul and consolation to his family and countless friends.~~Gene Olson
