Of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016, at the home of her parents. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 25, 1963, the daughter of Edward M. and Frances R. [Guadagnino] Finnerty.

Cindy graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1982 and received her LPN Degree while living in New Orleans, LA. Upon returning home to New York, she completed her Register Nursing Degree at Niagara County Community College. For the past 28 years she worked as a compassionate Registered Nurse at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, where she was on the cardiac care step-down unit and became the coordinator of the Utilization Review and case management. Cindy was a strong advocate for the well being of her patients and as a valued and respected colleague. She was a proud mother who valued family the most. Cindy loved spending time watching her boys play hockey and baseball, camping or creek walking and making memories with many life long friends.

In addition to her parents she is survived by two sons Nicholas and Michael Lotempio, two sisters Susan Morreale and Michelle (Brian) Zachary and was the aunt of Ciara Morreale and Joey Zachary. She is also survived by the  supportive and loving Notaro, Grimmer, Pagano and Finnerty Families, her former husband Robert Lotempio, step children Robert (Paula) Newbury, Marc Anthony Newbury, step grandchild Robert Paul Newbury and  nephew Kyle Campbell. 
Her family will be present on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Friday at  8:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at  9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church,   4671 Townline Road. Ransomville, NY, with the Rev. James  R. Bastian officiating.
Interment in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.
