Chuck, Corey and Karen,
Katie was a very special person. Her warm smile and winning ways made all who knew her feel loved and accepted. Her laugh brightened life.
I have many childhood memories of time spent with Karen and Katie. At family gatherings we would go for a walk to talk about girl things and giggle a lot. On one of those walks I had my first cigarette. As I was coughing and choking my cousins were laughing. I decided that smoking was not for me 🙂
My cousins were my bridesmaids and today we are celebrating our 45th anniversary. We are away on a trip so we won't be able to come to the funeral. Our love and prayers are with all of you during this hard time.
Katie loved greatly and was greatly loved ❤️❤️❤️

Chuck and Corey, there are no words to take away the sadness you are feeling right now. May God comfort you during the difficult times ahead and may he bring to you moments that will make you smile of all the beautiful memories of your wife and Mom. Katie meant so much to so many. Her contagious smile and laugh, her warm heart, and her gift of caring for all who were blessed to call her a friend as myself. I worked with Katie at State Farm for over 10 years and she was there for me at every stage of my life during that time. She taught me so much about life and I will always have that with me as well as the laughs and tears we shared and the fact we both loved Kenny Loggins :). Katie was the best listener and comforter ever. I will end with what I remember most about Katie and that is the love she had for her Chuck, Corey and cat. We will all miss her so much. <3
