Mark shared many happy days with Bob while at his parents Ed & Pauline Julich Camp Kemp. "He was a nice guy". I remember one special day with us at our home while he visited his dentist in DeLand, Florida. It was a wonderful day of laughter.

My deepest condolences to all of the Wray family. Your father was so kind to teach me to snow ski as a teenager. I thank him for that. It has brought so much joy and fun to me and, now, my family. He, and the Wray clan, also tried to teach me to water ski, but I could never get the hang of it, lol.
Your father has touched and enhanced so many lives. RIP Mr. Wray.

(I apologize for not making your father's wake. I have the flu. So wanted to pay my respects.)

I have such wonderful memories of your dad at the lake. There was a horrendous downpour one Sunday after church and your dad tracked me down with his cell phone and beckoned me to save him. He was out in the middle of the lake in a rain and lightning storm and his small whaler decided to not work any more, so I jumped on my jet ski, in the pouring rain and lightning, found him bobbing away in the lake, I tied his boat to the jet ski and towed him home which took over an hour cause I kept taking on water. finally we both landed thank God we weren't struck by lightning. A year later he comes over to the dock looking for his bourbon manhatten (we drank these often on hot calm days btw)and sold me his whaler after we had a few. I picked up the boat in late fall and garaged it till the next summer. That summer I put the whaler in the water and the engine died. Needless to say I never got a chance to drive the boat, I had to buy a new engine, we laughed and laughed cause I was always getting stuck with him and his ailing boat motors. I will miss him so much, he was like my second father to me at the lake. All of you are so fortunate to have such a loving, outgoing, friendly, ready to attack any challenge and wonderful DAD! my thoughts and prayers are with you all

Susan and I only knew Bob for a short time, but his charm and help with his community here in timber pines was known by all who ever met him. Rest easy Bob, you'll be missed.

I will miss Bob very much. I was his housekeeper here in Florida for last few years. From all the conversations we had - I know how much his family meant to him! No matter how bad he might have been feeling - he would just keep moving forward each day never giving up on life. He was kind and always willing to help others that needed his help fixing things where he lived in Timber Pines. He was a great man who will be missed by many. RIP Bob, I'll see you again one day and we'll talk some more.

We are very sad to hear the news about Bob. There are many, many memories of the good times we shared with Bob and Ruth. Skiing at Holimont, tours out west to ski, vacations to Saranac Lake, and visiting their home in Florida. These and many more are memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
