Patrick S. Copelin

March 8, 2011
Patrick Sam Copelin, of Niagara Falls, NY, entered in to peace on Tuesday, March 8, 2011. He was born in Lewiston, NY, on July 21, 1989, the son of Robert M. and Antoinette L. (Moreno) Copelin.

Patrick attended G.J. Mann, LaSalle Middle School and went on to graduate from Niagara Falls High School in 2008. While attending Niagara County Community College he studied music. Patrick had a strong passion for drumming and spent most of his time practicing with his band, "Friendly Fire". He performed at local summer concert events, opening for bands such as Kansas and Kim Mitchell. He also shared his talent at many local clubs in the area. Patrick loved going to concerts and could always be found in the middle of the crowd drumming to the beat with his drum sticks. He was inspired by musicians Led Zeppelin, Rush, and The Beatles and enjoyed living by the phrase "Peace, Love and Happiness."

Patrick also enjoyed boating and jet skiing. His favorite holiday was Christmas and he was known for giving strong loving hugs to anyone with welcoming arms. He always marched to the beat of his own drum.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Jena M. Copelin; his grandmother, Flo "Baba" (Roebuck) Moreno; also uncles, aunts and cousins. He was the grandson of the late Sam Moreno, Harry and Mary Ellen (Merrell) Copelin.

The family will be present at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM.
